Mid-November TBR

November 15, 2018

Phew, life is hectic, am I right? And with Thanksgiving right around the corner, it's going to get even busier. But I've been finding time to sneak in a chapter here and there of quite a few books (3 to be exact) and I'm making great progress. Let's take a look at what I'm reading!

Losing Hope by Michelle Windsor.

I grabbed this paperback from Michelle when I met her here locally. I'm on chapter 6 and this book is *steamy*. Phew, Hope and Gage are hot together. I can't wait to see where this encounter leads them. You can grab Losing Hope on Amazon for $2.99 and it's enrolled in KU. Head on over to Facebook and give Michelle a follow.

Shades of Betrayal by Jill Ramsower.

I'm actually almost done with this, and it's a perfect addition to the world Jill has created. I am so happy that Michael got his own book, we met him in her Fae Games Duet. I love Ashley as a heroine, she's strong, assertive, and she goes after what she wants. This can be read as a standalone, but you don't want to miss out on her books, so pop on over to Amazon and check out the series, starting with Shadow Play. This is releasing next week and I don't have a preorder link yet, but you can follow Jill on Facebook and give her a follow so you can get all the information as soon as she has it.

Mermaids are Real, The Mystiq Prong by Bo Wu.

This is an interesting book that I've come across, I'm about halfway done with this, so will be reviewing soon., It's labelled as a coming of age fantasy, I would consider it YA. We follow Benji in his quest to find out who he is and his place in this world, underwater. This is a fun read with a unique storyline. You can grab it on Amazon for $4.99 and it's enrolled in KU. I don't see him on Facebook but I will come back and update if he creates a page.

Souls Collide, Kristina Beck.

Eek! First of all, how gorgeous is this cover?? This is the third book in the series, but can be read as a standalone. It follows Alexa and Kent, and I can't wait to start it. I always find a great meaningful quote in Beck's books. I met her in a Facebook takeover and was hooked, she's a ton of fun and her author group is great. She writes from the heart and her books are amazing. It's available for preorder on Amazon for 99 cents, it's releasing December 7th, and I've already got my copy reserved. Head on over to Facebook and give Kristina a follow.

Christmas Wish, Amanda Siegrist

Amanda is another author I met during a takeover, and her books are super fun. She was the author to get me hooked on Romantic Suspense, which was a category I always avoided because *stress*. No longer though, and after I tore through her One Taste Series, I moved on to her other books. I know from following her that she loves Christmas, so I know this book is going to be fun. It's releasing December first, so grab your copy on preorder from Amazon as I have for only 99 cents. Then head on over to Facebook and give Amanda a follow.

Nikolai of Semar by Aurrora St. James

I haven't started this one yet, but I'm looking forward to. The third book in the series, the blurb says "Can two souls who have forsaken love join together to battle an ancient evil? Or will tragedies from the past separate them forever?". I haven't read this series, but I don't think I will be lost when I start this. I love the fantasy elements the author has here and I'm looking forward to starting it. You can grab Nikolai of Semar on Amazon for $2.99. Head on over to Facebook and give Aurrora a follow.

So that's my reading list for the next week, and while it looks daunting, I've got 3 books going at once right now, so I have faith I will get them done soon. This is such a fun variety of books I'm reading right now, it's great. So what are you reading?
