In Set the City on Fire, we met Freya and Leo, their connection was fast and deep. So it makes sense that in Burn it down, they get married!
But of course, you can't be in La Famiglia if you don't run into problems, and Leo wants more than anything for their wedding to go off without a hitch. His family adores Freya, but sometimes she feels like she doesn't fit in, and Leo's rules? Sometimes they're too much and she finds herself skirting them at every possible opportunity. But she just might learn the reasoning behind the strict rules he imposes.
Their relationship wasn't perfect, and it wouldn't be believable if it was. I could relate to Valentina's adoration of Freya's, every girl needs some sort of mother. Sophia added a few extras for her readers which made it a delicious treat, and that's all I can say without spoiling it. Nicely done!
For now you can read my review on Goodreads. Burn it Down is available for preorder on Amazon for 99 cents and releases January 11th.
